A Teacher or an Angel

Some teachers got frustrated

when they couldn't teach me.

You were patient and stayed calm.

Some teachers gave me

worksheets and walked away,

You stayed by my side every step of the way.

Some teachers showed me different

strategies that didn't make sense.

You found strategies I could understand.

Some teachers taught me

several skills and I failed.

You taught me one skill at a time unti I succeeded

Some teachers gave up on me

and thought there was no hope.

You had faith in me and encouraged me to continue.

Some teachers tried to get me to read.

You taught me how.

Some teachers are just teachers.

You are my Angel and worked a miracle.
